Vision & Mission

General information:

Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Mission:

1. Extension of irrigation and irrigation land including development of irrigation infrastructure.
2. With the introduction of irrigation facilities a crop land in the area has been converted into three crop land.
3. Forestry in the development of the environment.
4. Quality seed production and marketing
5. For the smooth marketing of agricultural products, making paved roads and bridges-culverts for rural development.
6. Government khas ponds, excavation of canal / ditch and cross-dam construction in canals for the development of underground water and fisheries.
7. Construction of drinking water from deep tube wells to supply pure drinking water.
8. Arrangement for training of farmers for agricultural issues.
